Ms. Adeshayo A. Adebunmi welcomes you to the Glowing Ages Academy Primary Section, a place of outstanding excellence, dynamic character, and holistic growth.
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends of Glowing Ages Academy,
It is my singular honour and delight to welcome you to Glowing Ages Academy Primary Section. As a department, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant, supportive, and stimulating environment where academic success goes hand in hand with the emotional, physical, and moral well-being of every student.
Our primary section forms the foundational pillars of formal education for children aged 6 to 10 years. In these formative years, our mission is to stimulate curiosity, build key academic capabilities, and cultivate the values of integrity, empathy, and resilience. We want our children to not just learn answers, but to ask questions, explore possibilities, and construct knowledge.
By seamlessly blending the depth of the British National Curriculum with the rich elements of the Nigerian National Curriculum, we prepare our learners to stand confidently on both local and international stages. Our pupils excel in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint examinations, placing them at par with counterparts worldwide.
In alignment with our school's vision of fostering 21st-century learners, our primary section features a state-of-the-art **Digital Smart Hub**. Here, our children are not merely passive consumers of technology; they are active creators. Starting from Year 1, students participate in leadership coding classes, learning basic blocks of coding, visual programming (Scratch), and progressively moving to text-based coding (Python) and hands-on robotics. We believe programming builds structured, logical problem-solving mindsets that aid all academic disciplines.
Education at GAA extends far beyond textbooks. We run a comprehensive co-curricular system designed to discover and nurture the unique potentials of each student. Through music classes, arts and crafts, competitive sports, public speaking clubs, and foreign language training (French), our children develop well-rounded skills.
Equally central to our work is character and moral guidance. We implement weekly value themes focused on leadership, kindness, self-discipline, and respect, helping our children grow into responsible, empathetic citizens who respect diversity and represent their families and country with pride.
"We guide students to build their critical thinking, character, and 21st-century skill sets, ensuring they step forward as confident, self-reliant leaders."
We firmly believe that a child's success is a collaborative result of the home and the school. We value and encourage active partnership, open dialogue, and constructive feedback from our parents. Regular parent-teacher interactions, progress report meetings, and collaborative events keep you informed and involved in every step of your child's academic journey.
Whether you are an existing member of the GAA family or a prospective parent exploring our school for the first time, I invite you to visit our campus, feel the warmth of our community, and witness how we inspire our children to reach for their stars.
Warmest regards,
Ms. Adeshayo A. Adebunmi
